What witchcraft is this!? Where did all the calories and sugar go!?

Great question, young grasshopper. Here at Harken our mad scientists figured out how to make a classic caramel out of none other than the DATE fruit! The way we process superfruit and superfood mean we retain the natural sweetness of the fruit, while keeping intact it’s fibrous quality. The result is a bonafide candy bar with ~40% fewer calories and ~70% less sugar.

What ingredients are in your candy bars?

Full ingredient info for any of our products can be found on its product page! That said, we thought we’d take this time to highlight our favorite ingredient: The Date Fruit. It’s a superfood for a reason - dates are high in fiber and antioxidants, with nutritional benefits that help improve gut health, prevent chronic disease, boost brain health, and make your skin glowy 😃. But don’t just take it from us, listen to the folks at the Cleveland Clinic.

What is the nutritional content of your candy bars?

We thought you’d never ask :) This just so happens to be the part of our package we’re most proud of. Full nutritional info for any of our products can be found on its product page in the image carousel! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions whatsoever.

What are net carbs?

Not all carbs are created equal. Fiber doesn’t affect your blood sugar, so they’re stripped out to get “net carbs,” which you can think of as the active carbs that affect your body. So, Net Carbs = Total Carbs - Fiber.

Do kids eat/like Harken Bars?!

In a word? Abso-freaking-lutely. The best part about it - we offer a tasty treat that infuses your kiddos’ diet with prebiotic fiber - the macronutrient most commonly lacking in children’s diets. We also have no added sugar, so you know they’ll get all of what they need and none of what they don’t.

How many candy bars are in each case/tray?

Harken's products are sold in "trays" and have 12 candy bars inside each tray. So, for example, if you order one "The Nutty One (12-Pack)", you will receive one tray of 12 The Nutty One candy bars.

Can I update my shipping address, edit, or cancel my order once I place it?

Please email us immediately at hello@harkensweets.com with your order number and request. We will do our best to help you out.

How long will it take for my order to arrive and how do I track it?

We process most orders within 3-5 business days, and delivery typically takes 5-7 business days after shipping. Once your order ships, we’ll send you an email with a shipping confirmation and all the tracking info. And, we will send you an email if we anticipate any delays in processing.

Help! My package says it was delivered, but I don’t see it!

Step one - don’t panic! Sometimes orders can be marked as delivered early, or might have been dropped off at a front desk or mail room. If you still haven’t received your order by the end of the next business day, let us know at hello@harkensweets.com.

My order arrived, but it’s damaged!

We’re so sorry to hear that! Please email us at hello@harkensweets.com and let us know what was damaged so we can help you out right away!

What are summertime shipping rules?

In the summertime, we increase our prices to cover our increased packaging and shipping costs.

Our products must stay at or below room temperature in order to keep them the perfect candy bars that they are :). So, in the summertime, we typically ship our products in frozen shipping packaging with ice packs and at faster speeds to get it to your doorstep without any issue :).

We expect to operate under Summertime Shipping Rules from roughly April to October.

What is your return policy?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the products that we sell, we are unable to accept returns. That said, please reach out if you have any issues with your order and we will do our best to help.
